What is TV Everywhere?

According to newteevee.com, TV Everywhere is an authentication system whereby certain premium content (TV shows, movies, etc.) are available online — but only if you can prove (or “authenticate”) that you have a subscription to a multiservice operator (e.g. cable, satellite, telco TV).

Why is Tv Everywhere is being created?

Cable companies pay big chunks of money to cable networks (USA, MTV, FX) to carry their programming. Comcast and its ilk are none too happy when these networks then turn around and put said content on the Internet for free — and run ads! ( newteevee.com)

This kind of technologies appeal the younger generation this is because the extra application that is added into the system. The format of this is that is the same with normal television. Viewers can also view through their Pc and also mobile device .

  1. Comcast Fancast is here they cannot call it TV everywhere any more because that would be a lie at least for now. You can only use it on the iPad or iPhone and you cannot take the Device out of your home for is to work at least right now and Comcast is making get there wifi network because it will not work with any other network. As a DISH subscriber and employee I can tell that DISH is bringing all their customers TV everywhere but it is a little different. First you have to have a 722 receiver box and connect a Sling adapter to the receiver you don’t need any special antenna; what ever you are subscribed to you will get on your mobile device. It does not cost any extra and you can take it out side of your home. You do have to download are DISH remote access app that does not cost a thing and there is a number of device that this will work on. Go to DISH Network website to find out more.
