Kindle e-book
Kess & van Leeuwan (2006, p.204) discussed about the differences in terms of reading paths of linear and non-linear compositions. Linear compositions such as comic strip, novels are strictly coded & are meant to be read in sequence ( e.g left to right , top to bottom, line by line). Non-linear texts such as magazines, newspaper (1998, p.205) are less strictly coded and are read differently – can be read more than one way. This means the kindle e-book and the print media have the same content and design but the e-book is more user friendly and easy to get connected with. Walsh (2006,p.26) in her discussion on “ Reading in a Multimodal Environment”, said that written text is only one part of a message, & no longer the dominant part of the message. Her opinion is supported with crucial issues raised by Kress and others ( e.g, 2000: bearne, 2003) that, the screen” and multimodal texts have developed new literacies.
Kindle also tell the audience to buy kindle e-book and save the forest. As we know that global warming has become the most big issue that is talk about. He promotes his product and also educating the audience to save the planet.

New forms of Media Publishing
Print Vs. New media
According to Kress & van Leeuwen (2006), salience is a feature or some features of an element that makes it entrancing or the ‘degree to which an element draws attention to itself’. Thus, a document design is important in print or new media. This will catch audience attention to read the print or online. Walsh (2006) said that responses in an audience are usually achieved by the choices of color, size, angle and etc.
